I distress, paint, reconfigure furniture all in the hopes to have it look great while being functional as well. Everything here is for sale. Most pieces will take from 8 to 12 hours of work and I always use 2 to 3 coats of a premium paint as well as multiple coats of clear coat or varnish, sanding in between coats. Do the finish right, and it will last a long time. On most of my furniture the amount I get paid per hour in the end is less than a pizza delivery driver. My goal is to start with quality wood pieces which means the purchase of thee pieces used is more than the price of a brand new pressed wood piece I purchase furniture and then alter it.
